Robert Nigel Phillips originated the HIT BOXING one- on- one training program.
The goal of the class and private one-on one training is to get you in the best
physical and cardiovascular shape of your life while at the same time, learning
the skills of boxing.
HIT BOXING incorporates actual boxing footwork, heavy bag work, pad work
along with strength training, weight training exercises. It is a total body
workout. That is what you are in store for when you walk through that door. No
matter if you are just starting to exercise or if you have been exercising your
whole life, there is a place for you in the HIT Boxing program.
Hit Boxing prides itself on individual attention and motivation. You will
work one on one with me. Special attention is paid to form and detail, while
making sure you have the optimal "injury free" workout. Hit Boxing motivates you
to go to the next level of exercise no matter where you are now.
We recommend you use a pair of boxing bag gloves, no less than 6oz.
We also recommend hand wraps as well as a jump rope (See our gear section) as well as plenty
of water. It is a good idea to stretch before and after the training and or
class. My one-on-one training includes PNF stretching.
Before starting personal training with me or my HIT Boxing class, i strongly
recommend consulting a physician.
Work at your own pace and have fun.
Nigel
